Who We Are
CSIG (Center for Sustainability and Innovation of the Amazon) was founded in 2004 with a clear vision: to transform the future of the Amazon through education and technology.
What began as an initiative focused on robotics and digital literacy has evolved into a catalyst for Socio-environmental Innovation and the Circular Economy.
Over the past decade, we have identified electronic waste (e-waste) as both a huge challenge and a great opportunity. Therefore, we have refocused our efforts on developing sustainable solutions that not only combat improper disposal but also generate social and economic value for local communities.
Our journey is marked by significant achievements that demonstrate the impact of our work, such as recognition with the LED Award and prominent participation in the First Lego League (FLL) program, which validate our innovative educational methodology.
